It is easier to hang on to something we know we’re better off letting go. It’s like we’re scared to lose what we really don’t even have. Though I guess Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. We’d rather have something than nothing at all, but the truth is to have something halfway is harder than not having it at all.Anyways, maybe false hope is better than no hope at all and of course, it is the more dangerous one. Most often, there is huge disappointment waiting for us at the end. And by my experience, nothing kills you brutally more than false hope, better to face the quick pain of ugly truth than the ongoing pain of a long-held false hope.
The whole point is to keep on living for a fading shadow of hope, a slight chance of improvement. We welcome anything that helps us moving forward.
